With the TECHNIROUTER 5/2x16, you can build a single-cable converter distribution system and supply up to 32 subscribers with the complete television program lineup from up to two satellites (e.g., Astra 19.2° E and Eutelsat 13° E) as well as the terrestrial signal via two cables. Existing cable infrastructure in residential buildings can be used without laying new cables. If more than 32 subscriber connections are required, additional TECHNIROUTER 5/2x16 units can be cascaded at the trunk line outputs. The system utilizes digital SCR (Satellite Channel Routing) technology according to EN50494/EN50607, allowing for unrestricted access to all receiving devices. Multi-tuner devices (PVRs) can also be fully operated without the need to lay new antenna cables. Atmospheric attenuation losses, which lead to fluctuations in the received satellite signal level, are compensated for by the TECHNIROUTER 5/2x16 using a built-in automatic gain control (AGC).

Which LNB is required?
For operation with one orbital position, use Quattro LNBs (Quattro-Switch LNBs are not suitable).
By using two WIDEBAND LNBs, two orbital positions can be distributed without restriction.
Use WIDEBAND LNBs with a LOF of 10.41 GHz.
