SAT Systems
A wealth of programmes for little money –
with TechniSat satellite dishes
The world of satellite reception is waiting for you: for a one-time purchase cost, you’ll enjoy an incredibly wide selection of TV programmes. TechniSat helps you choose the right satellite system, provides installation tips, and connects you with qualified local retailers.
The components of a satellite system
Satellite Dish
The dish receives the satellite signal from space. Even small models deliver a strong signal; with a larger diameter, reception quality improves and you gain additional bad-weather reserve.
LNB
The LNB forwards the signals via cable to your TV or receiver. With the right LNB, several devices can receive different programmes simultaneously.
Feed Arm
The feed arm ensures the LNB is precisely positioned at the focal point and determines which type of LNB can be mounted.
Wall, roof, balcony – there are many ways to install a satellite dish. Sometimes, however, the building structure limits the possible size. TechniSat offers systems with dish diameters of 33, 45, 60, and up to 85 cm.

TechniSat satellite systems are extremely durable – and with our SATMAN range we go one step further: we provide a full 20-year warranty.
Robust construction
SATMAN antennas are made entirely of aluminium and are double powder-coated. This makes them sturdy, weather-resistant, and completely rust-free. Reinforced mounts for the dish and LNB prevent misalignment, and the LNB unit itself is protected by a weatherproof housing.
Rigorous testing
As a German quality brand, TechniSat ensures that every customer receives a premium satellite system. Each antenna undergoes extensive quality checks during production and final inspection before dispatch. TechniSat also assists with setup and alignment.
Crystal-clear reception
The result is outstanding: once installed, you enjoy digital reception of the highest standard – razor-sharp, noise-free images; countless TV and radio channels; HD, UHD – everything you could wish for, all fine-tuned for years of reliable operation.

Aligning your satellite dish – the easy way to perfect reception
For optimal reception, a dish must be precisely aligned. TV and radio satellites orbit in geostationary positions above the equator, always remaining fixed over one point on Earth. Their position can be targeted using just two values: azimuth (horizontal angle) and elevation (vertical tilt).
How does satellite TV reception work?
TV and radio signals are transmitted from geostationary satellites toward Earth.
The satellite dish captures the signal and focuses it at the focal point.
The LNB (Low Noise Block Converter), mounted on the feed arm, receives and amplifies the signal, then converts it to a lower frequency.
The LNB outputs send the signal via coaxial cable to:
- a satellite receiver / TV with built-in receiver, or
- a multiswitch distributing it to multiple receivers.
The receiver (integrated or external) decodes the signal into a high-definition TV programme.
In short
Satellite TV offers two major advantages over cable: significant long-term cost savings and a much broader selection of channels.
Costs include a one-time investment in the satellite system and the mandatory broadcasting fee. No additional monthly charges apply – saving you money year after year. Plus, satellite reception delivers many more national and international channels.
HD and UHD TVs with integrated receiver
Perfect satellite reception deserves perfect picture quality. With TechniSat TVs, you get both – premium entertainment with brilliant HD and UHD displays that maximise your viewing experience.
