Factory Seconds / Refurbished Goods

Factory seconds are new or like-new products from TechniSat showrooms, trade fair displays, warehouse stock, business test units, or customer returns from distance sales (within the return period). These products have never been in continuous use.

Each factory second is thoroughly inspected by our quality assurance team for full functionality and compliance with all TechniSat quality standards. Devices are cleaned and reset to factory settings.

Factory seconds are clearly marked as such. The retail packaging may be damaged or replaced with a neutral outer box.

These units may have no visible defects or only minor cosmetic blemishes (outside the visible display area), which do not affect the product’s performance. The degree of cosmetic variation may differ from unit to unit and cannot be individually specified in advance.

Factory seconds come with 24 months of statutory warranty from the date of purchase. Product registration for warranty extension is not available for factory seconds.

As a TechniSat customer, you will of course receive full customer support from our TechniSat service team—even for factory seconds.

Refurbished goods are used items returned during the warranty or statutory warranty period. These devices undergo a complete refurbishment process (including technical maintenance and replacement of defective components with the latest generation parts), followed by full functionality testing before being resold.

Each refurbished unit is thoroughly inspected by our quality assurance team for full functionality and compliance with all TechniSat quality standards. Devices are cleaned and reset to factory settings.

Refurbished goods are clearly labeled as such. The packaging may be damaged or replaced with a neutral outer carton.

Refurbished units may show visible signs of use, including cosmetic defects in visible areas. The degree of wear may vary from unit to unit and cannot be specified in advance. For TV sets, refurbished units may exhibit pixel faults.

Refurbished goods come with 12 months of statutory warranty from the date of purchase. Product registration for warranty extension is not available for refurbished products.
