This multiswitch allows satellite signals to be distributed to up to eight users. By combining the base unit with the cascade unit, the distribution network can be easily expanded to up to 24 users. Each user has access to the full range of channels at all multimedia outlets. The TechniSwitch system can distribute up to four different satellite IF levels. A mains connection is not strictly necessary at the installation location of the multiswitch system. The power supply for the multiswitches (including the terrestrial output) can be provided by the LNB power supply of the receivers. Otherwise, power is supplied via the main unit's power adapter.
