Because the under-counter mounting kitchen radio receives Internet Radio wirelessly via WLAN. This means that you can listen to over 20,000 radio stations from all over the world - entirely to suit your mood and taste. You can also save your favourites to the favourites list, once you have found them, and this lets you access them more easily. Of course, the DIGITRADIO IR also receives local, regional and country-wide stations via DAB+ and FM, if the world is not enough for you... Then you can stream your own personal favourite music via Bluetooth on the DIGITRADIO 21 IR. Even available album covers and additional information can be transferred and displayed on the 2.8” colour TFT display. Does this, make the DIGITRADIO 21 IR the perfect kitchen radio? Pretty much. Because, on the one hand, it can be installed under a shelf using the installation materials provided - this saves space in the kitchen and is also useful if you want to keep the unit clean in all the kitchen chaos. On the other hand, the DIGITRADIO 21 IR has various different timer functions, such as a radio alarm and a sleep timer. These functions ensure that cooking and preparation times are monitored and that you wake up to your favourite music in the morning via digital radio.
