This ultra-compact stand-alone multiswitch distributes one orbital position (four satellite blocks) to up to eight subscribers and also allows for the input of either DVB-T/DAB+/FM or cable TV. All subscriber outputs are pre-compensated for tilt, so distances of up to 100 m from the LNB to the wall outlet can be bridged without additional accessories. The TechniSwitch 5/8 mini is designed for transmitting DOCSIS signals and is therefore ideally suited for use in satellite distribution systems for the simultaneous use of internet and telephone services from cable network operators. With the appropriate 5/8 distribution components, signal distribution can be expanded to 16 or more subscribers. Because the TechniSwitch 5/8 mini is particularly energy-efficient, no power supply is required at the installation location of the multiswitch. The switch is powered by the receiver.
