The TECHNINET DVB-T2/PAL™ TWIN CI card is used to receive DVB-T/T2 terrestrial signals and convert them directly into two analog CCIR PAL B/G channels, for the frequency range of 48 MHz to 862 MHz. This transmodulator is therefore ideally suited to convert two SD/HD TV programs from one terrestrial channel into PAL signals that can be received by any television set. Using a CI module with a compatible smartcard, these two programs can be decoded directly on the converter card. This card decodes MPEG-2 and H.264 signals and is not suitable for converting freenet TV.
