! New Version !
The CABLESTAR 100 with article number 0010/3915 supports the AAC-LC audio coding format, which is used by ARD radio programs.
If you have previously used FM signals from the cable network to listen to the radio on your stereo system, you can now use the CABLESTAR 100 to receive digital radio programs. The CABLESTAR 100 is a radio adapter that extracts the digital radio programs from the cable signal and transmits them to a stereo system.
For connection to the stereo system, the adapter offers an analog L/R audio output and, for high-quality digital transmission, an electrical digital audio output (S/PDIF). You can save up to nine favorite stations in a favorites list, which you can then access via the remote control. The CABLESTAR 100 is equipped with a high-quality, 2-line OLED display that impresses with its high brightness and excellent contrast. This ensures good readability at all times and from almost any viewing angle. The device also features RDS radio text for radio stations broadcasting with the MPEG-1 & MPEG-2 Layer I and II audio codecs.* Radio text transmits and displays additional information such as the program title, the title and artist of the current song, and more.
* Not guaranteed for radio stations broadcasting with the AAC-LC audio codec.
